I bought my first Schecter C-1 on eBay about a month ago, and I really love it. It is now my favorite one. With Duncan Design, the default design for this guitar, mine has the same. I put an EMGS 81 and 65 in it for more metal sound, which is my profession. The neck of this guitar is made with Rosewood and Jumbo frets, it also has the locking turner on it as well. Even I buy it on eBay; I’m well satisfied with the price I paid and the quality for this guitar. The seller was kind enough to give me a guitar case, which now a home of my guitar.
Talk about the sound quality, I have my Schecter C-1 go through the Tone Port UX1 to my laptop. After trying a few notes, the sound is clear and the metal tones are very well. As my music style is all about soft rock, this guitar is the best I have ever tried. By pulling on or off the harmonics, I can easy change the sound and can make a lot of different sound.
About action and finish, the action of this guitar is quite good, and because of buying from eBay, I don’t sure if the settings were set by the manufacture or by the previous user, but however, it is good and much better than other brands I have used. If you notice, you will see the rusted screws on the side, it is not a very big deal but it may hold up your excitement. Mine had been replaced with other screw; I don’t want to use it that way.
The reliability and durability of this guitar is good. Nice handle, nice sound and nice price, I cannot ask for anything more than that. The hardware of this guitar is very good, well tested and will last for a long time. The finish on the guitar is really good, the bold curves are awesome and I still not believe that I bought this item; it is like a new one came from the box.
Schecter C-1 is great. I have used a lot of guitars before buying this one and I’m well impressed with this. The sound tuning is easy and the quality is very good. In my tremolo system, this guitar is my favorite instrument and I use it all the time. If you are looking for a new guitar, buy it, it will make you proud!
